We are bona-fide, active participants in the mining industry with an uncompromising drive, passion and desire to be at the forefront of all the Projects that we embark on.
The Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) has granted Varsiwave Investments (Pty) Ltd both mining and prospecting rights in the Piet Retief Area in Mpumalanga. The rights are at different stages of fruition, the most notable are:
- Project 1: Nooitgezien 381 IT portion 1 (Mining Right and Water Use License)
- Project 2: Nooitgezien 381 IT portion 2 (Prospecting)
We are currently mining on Portion 1 and have an offtake agreement with a subsidiary of Kangra namely Africa Resource Holdings
On Portion 1: We are looking at Mining at 1 Million Tons of coal.
On Portion 2: Our current mineable coal assets are in excess of 200 million tons based on desktop studies conducted by our in-house geologist.
Our intent remains to use the funds, capacity and plant to develop the Portion Two which will require capital to bring it to a bankable stage.
Our directors and core team are passionate about mining and want to grow Varsiwave Investments (Pty) Ltd into a key player in the mining industry. Our vision is to service both local and international markets.
Our current focus is on the prospecting, development and mining of coal assets.
Varsiwave continues to seek out and find Prospecting rights countrywide.
We are a 100% Black Owned, Level 1 BB-BEE contributor.
